Some baby animals are so underrated in their cuteness. Have you ever even thought of what a baby walrus looks like? We bet you didn't. We rarely even think of them as adults, really, but when we do, we always have that image of a giant creature, lazing about inside the water, looking for fish. We never think of them as itty bitty (but still pretty big) babies, awkward and curious, seeking to discover the wonders of the world, learning the ways of the walrus. And maybe we should. And then there are baby animals who people think about all the time, who get all the credit in the world. Like puppies. And you know what? We can't fault people for it. Because we think about puppies like- a lot, too. Because there is simply nothing else like it. And the fact that we can pet puppies and have them in our homes, sharing our lives, well… that might make us a bit biased. Not that we wouldn't want a baby walrus. It's just kind of… not allowed.
